Pricing
Our prices are transparent, allowing you to calculate the cost of lessons per hour. Our materials fees are reasonable and we do not charge enrolment fees. We offer significant discounts for group applicants. We also offer scholarships.
1. We do not offer free or trial lessons
2. When a learner enrolls on a course, we have to allocate resources to that request and in some cases, waive other requests. Therefore, a refund policy has to be balanced between the parties. Our refund policy does not interfere with the legal provisions of any country and in case of conflict, local laws will prevail. However, refunds may not be possible if we have internally allocated resources following an enrolment. For example, materials, private lessons, short courses and residential courses. Therefore, please refer to the relevant course pricing page for our specific refund terms for the course you are interested in.

Pre-enrolment FAQs 1
What is the difference between non-interactive, partially-interactive and fully interactive lessons?
Our definition of non-interactive (NI) is:
- There is no interaction with other students and the teacher during classes
- There is no interaction with others and with the teacher during feedback sessions
- There is no personalised correction of your written work (compositions) by the teacher.
- There is no guarantee of success in international exams
Our definition of partially-interactive (PI) is:
Elements 1 & 2 above are included, but elements 3 & 4 are not included.
Our definition of fully-interactive (FI) is:
All 4 elements above are included.
What is the difference between a ready-made course and a bespoke course?
A ready-made course is one that we have developed over many years and produces the best results for our learners in the shortest possible time.
A bespoke course is one where a client of ours, whether an individual or an organisation, needs a specific programme for specific goals and within a specific timeframe.
Do you charge a materials fee?
Yes. Materials are expected to exist in a physical form as well as online. After enrolment and payment, materials are posted to the student’s address. Materials cost about 150.00 Euros per level. As each level lasts 100 hours, the materials fee is infrequent.
How is it possible for Beecham to have the confidence to guarantee its students success in international examinations?
We are able to issue such guarantees because we have many years’ experience teaching English, our teachers are highly-qualified and our long-developed methodologies are highly effective.
What happens if a student fails an international exam?
This question is answered on our webpage entitled Examinations.
What is the difference between a closed group and an open group?
A closed group has the following characteristics:
- A linear learning program, with a fixed starting point and a fixed ending point.
- Pre-registration is required to be placed on the waiting list. Alternatively, a group of connected students can get together and form a closed group – as long as they are at the same skill level.
- A closed group is smaller than an open group
- Closed groups are fully interactive.
- Lessons on closed-group courses can be delivered online, in-person, or during a short break.
An open group has the following characteristics:
- A cyclical learning program where students can join a group or transfer between groups at their level at any time.
- There is no pre-registration required and students can start at any time. After an assessment of your ability and subject to availability, you will be offered a place in a group where other people have the same level of ability as you.
- An open group is bigger than a closed group
- Open groups can be non-interactive or partially-interactive.
- Lessons on open-group courses are delivered online only.
Does Beecham charge a fee for assessing a prospective learner's current ability in English?
No. The pre-enrolment assessment of your current ability in English is free.
Does Beecham charge an enrolment fee?
No. The enrolment procedure is free and consists of the following steps:
- A test of spoken English (via a WhatsApp or Telegram voice call).
- A test of knowledge of English (via an online multiple-choice test).
- A test of written English (online).
Do you charge a dislocation fee for in-person lessons?
Yes, but with prior agreement with the learner or organisation. Clearly, where courses are given in locations which are distant from a teacher’s base, or where courses are given to organisations in another country, there would be incremental travel expenses involved.
Pre-enrolment FAQs 2
Do online classes mean the course is not interactive?
No. Online courses can be partially-interactive (PI) or fully interactive (FI). Our definitions of interactive are given in FAQ1 above.
On partially-interactive (PI) and fully-interactive (FI) courses, interaction with other students and the teacher takes place, irrespective of whether they are delivered online, in-person, or on a short break.
What is not included in your pricing for courses delivered during short breaks?
Tuition and materials fees: These are given in our pricing tables.
Accommodation and meals costs: These are not provided because they will depend on whether the course is delivered on a weekend break or a 4-week break.
Travel costs: These are not provided because they will depend on the distance from the learner’s home to the designated holiday facility.
The accommodation, meals and travel costs will be provided to the interested applicants.
